Top Secret Diary Comics!

Well, my bad, I thought I had pre-scheduled a Top! Secret! Diary! Comic! to post on Monday, but turns out I didn’t… I was at the SECAC Conference last week in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was SO MUCH FUN. One of my best friends from high school (now also an art professor down in Texas) and I presented as a part of the Let Us Pee and Leave Us Be: Art and Performance About Queer and Trans Erasure in Red States panel.

We chose to present in drag! It was my first time doing drag makeup. Let me know what you think! I had a blast, and I definitely went and bought $$ of makeup after this to do it again.

Here’s this week’s Top Secret Diary Comic! My little gift to my paid subscribers because they’re also really personal. I don’t censor myself in these works at all, which feels very freeing, but also incredibly vulnerable.

Created as a rough draft zine in Beth Trembly’s Graphic Memoir class through the Sequential Art Workshop (SAW). I was SO EXCITED to take her class, being a gigantic fan of her book Look Again. Life changing stuff.
